Referring to his role on the iconic show – which was based on Jacqueline Wilson’s book series – actor Joe Maw, 27, posted a slide of him in action in the series – fully titled The Story of Tracy Beaker

He captioned it with the words: “Who would have thought little old me would go from playing Johnny Taylor in Tracy Beaker …

“To expecting my own daughter in December.”

The Yorkshire-born screen star then shared the heart-warming moment his wife Courtney revealed they were set to expand their family.

She had placed a baby grow on the table which read: “Daddy it’s dangerous to go alone, take me.”

The video showed him reading the word intently and putting a hand to his mouth in shock.

As his dog ran around equally excited, he gave his partner a huge hug.

In the TikTok comments one fan put: “Congratulations you’re going to be amazing parents to that little bundle of joy.”

Another added: “Congrats man so happy for you both.”

A third quipped: “You’re gonna feel like such a grown-up dad when your baby girl turns the age you started Tracy Beaker and you’re gonna think where all the time went.”

One then surmised: “No wayyyy man how emotional.”

Joe, who was born in Scarborough, is expecting a little girl.

He has also starred in BBC show Doctors in both 2012 and 2014.

Meanwhile, the rest of the Tracy Beaker cast have showcased similar life changes and image transformations.
