Nova Scotia's rivers still suffer from acid rain. Restoring them could also help the climate

Starting this summer, a Halifax-based startup will be adding powdered limestone to the West River in Pictou County — part of a strategy the company hopes will help restore Nova Scotia’s salmon rivers while removing carbon dioxide from the atmosphere.
