Lake Katrine man arrested on weapon, burglary charges
KINGSTON, N.Y. (NEWS10)-- A Lake Katrine man was arrested on Monday, July 29 in the City of Kingston, according to State Police Troop F Public Information Officer Steven Nevel. Xanadou Blue, 43, is facing numerous misdemeanor and felony charges.
Around 11 p.m. on July 29, troopers responded to a call on Clinton Avenue to a man threatening a group of minors. Blue was attempting to take their bicycles from them and using a hammer to threaten them in the process.
Charges:
- Robbery in the third degree, a class E felony
- Tampering with Physical Evidence, a class E felony
- 5 counts of Menacing in the second degree, class A misdemeanors
- 2 counts of Criminal Possession of a weapon in the fourth degree, class A misdemeanors
- 5 counts of Acting in a manner to injure a child less than 17, class A misdemeanors
Blue was later arraigned in the City of Kingston Court. He was remanded to Ulster County Jail in lieu of bail.
