Drug sale investigation ends in Mechanicville man arrest

Deputies from the Saratoga County Sheriff's Office say Batto is accused of selling and possessing methamphetamine. He was arrested on Thursday.

ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- A Mechanicville man was arrested following a drug sale investigation throughout Saratoga County. Adam Batto, 32, faces multiple charges.

Deputies from the Saratoga County Sheriff's Office say Batto is accused of selling and possessing methamphetamine. He was arrested on Thursday.

Charges:

• Third-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance (two counts)
• Third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance (two counts)

Batto was arraigned in the Stillwater Town Court and released on his own recognizance. The Mechanicville Police Department assisted in the investigation.
