Albany man accused of having loaded gun

The Albany County Sheriff's Office (ACSO) reported the arrest of an Albany man on felony gun charges.

ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- The Albany County Sheriff's Office (ACSO) reported the arrest of an Albany man on felony gun charges. Kyrin Armstead, 18, was charged with second and third-degree criminal possession of a weapon.

The ACSO reports that deputies were conducting a traffic stop on Monday in the area of North Lake Avenue and Bradford Street in Albany when an investigation revealed that the passenger, identified as Armstead, had a loaded semi-automatic handgun. Armstead was transported to the Albany County Correctional Facility and will be arraigned on Tuesday.
