BROOKLYN, N.Y. (PIX11) — A person was struck and killed at the Grand Army Plaza subway station in Brooklyn Tuesday morning, according to the NYPD.
As of noon, the No. 2, 3, 4 and 5 lines were running with delays in both directions, according to the MTA.
Police responded to a 911 call at around 9:37 a.m. and located an unresponsive 24-year-old woman. The woman had trauma to her head and body, police said. She was pronounced dead at the scene, according to the NYPD.
A preliminary investigation revealed that the woman accidentally fell, police said. There is no criminality suspected.
