The Little Bit Of Love singer said: “I’ve got dyslexia and I struggled with concentrating at school.

“I’ve just been told I’ve got ADHD. It wasn’t picked up at school. Maybe that’s why I sat there unable to focus.”

On Russell Howard’s Wonderbox podcast, out tomorrow, Tom says that following his wedding in June he had started working with producer Justin Tranter, who has worked with Ariana Grande and Justin Bieber.

“I’ve been in the US writing my new album and it’s been amazing,” Tom said.

“I’ve been working with Justin and he is one of the biggest songwriters in the world, if not the biggest.

“We’ve gone deep. It’s about my struggle with different aspects of my life, whether it’s alcohol or drugs. I’ve opened up about my life, from being a kid to now, family and relationships.

“I listen to it now [and think], ‘Bloody hell, I’ve done something I’m really proud of’.”

I loved Tom’s last record, What Ifs & Maybes, which went to No1 last June, so I can’t wait to hear this.

Sappy Sab

SABRINA Carpenter really rates boyfriend Barry Keoghan, which is why he’s in the video for No1 single Please Please Please.

She told Variety mag: “He’s one of the best actors of this generation. So getting to see him on the screen with my song as the soundtrack made the video better and all the more special.”

Paris and Nicole on a roll

ISN’T is nice when old pals meet to ketchup?

Nicole Richie wore a hotdog suit and Paris Hilton donned an apron to take orders as the two worked at a drive-thru takeaway in California.

The job was part of a one-off revival of The Simple Life.

It’s been 17 years since their reality TV show was on our screens – and I absolutely loved it back in the day.

Bob back for Band Aid doc

THE brilliant Ben Jones, who masterminded the excellent Nickelback documentary, is back for a new audio series on Virgin Radio celebrating the 40th anniversary of Band Aid.

The documentary, out this year, will look at the story behind the recording of mega single Do They Know It’s Christmas in 1984 to raise money for anti-famine efforts in Ethiopia.

Organisers Bob Geldof and Midge Ure have both signed up to appear in the two-parter, along with Francis Rossi, Simon Le Bon and Paul Young.

Boom-Town Rats frontman Bob said: “It is extraordinary that, 40 years after Midge and I knocked off, as quickly as we could, what we thought was an OKish little Christmas song, a whole series of events unravelled both locally and globally that initially helped ease the suffering of as many of the starving as possible.

“This small song became and remains what it always set out to be, an instrument of change. What is true beyond any shadow of a doubt is that, had we not done this 40 years ago there would be many hundreds of thousands of people, possibly more, who would not be alive today.

“Because of this small pop effort. That’s mad isn’t it? Mad and awful. What a stupid way to run the world.”

Daisy's health battle

DAISY Ridley has revealed she has Graves’ disease but said she put the symptoms down to the stress of acting in thriller film Magpie.

The autoimmune condition started up during production.

Daisy told Women’s Health: “I thought, I’ve just played a really stressful role . . . that’s why I feel poorly.”

Steven is granny of rock

AEROSMITH fans were gutted when the band were forced to cancel the rest of their farewell tour dates after frontman Steven Tyler had to quit performing because of vocal issues.

The decision was a bold one, and my pal, former XFM radio host and now American broadcaster Ian Camfield, who knows Steven well, praised it.

Ian told me: “This is very admirable. Steven could have mimed the whole show but they have chosen not to do that.

“They could have made people believe it was live and made a load of money, but they want it to be the real deal.”

On hanging out with Steven, Ian joked: “I say this with respect, it’s like your old grandma turning up.

“He would have all those scarves and he’d be nearly falling over them . . . But at the press conferences I did with him he’s Steven Tyler the showman. The juxtaposition was tremendous.”

New ideas for Brooke

BROOKE COMBE has dropped new single Dancing At The Edge of the World, the first taste of her upcoming debut album.

She was acclaimed for her 2023 mixtape Black Is The New Gold but the soul star has gone back to basics ahead of the as-yet untitled LP’s release.

Brooke, right, said: “I wrote this after parting with a major label.

“After feeling like I wasn’t able to pursue creating music and lyrics that I felt strongly about, I ended up with a lot of self doubt and felt as though I was jumping through hoops for people that weren’t performing these songs themselves.”

Becky’s top off the popps

I CELEBRATE my work wins by cracking open a cheap bottle of plonk.

Becky Hill, meanwhile, chalked up two huge DJ slots, whipped off her bikini top and waved it around her head while on a yacht.

I need to up my game.

Becky shared the snap from the White Isle, where she played with David Guetta at Ushuaia before heading to Mallorca for a set with Danny Howard.

She’s smashing it.
