2024 MTV Video Music Awards nominations list: Taylor Swift leads VMAs with 10 bids
The 2024 MTV Video Music Awards announced their full list of nominations on Tuesday, August 6, and Taylor Swift leads the way — again — with 10 nominations, including Video of the Year for her visual for “Fortnight” featuring Post Malone. If she wins that category again, she’ll become the first artist ever to prevail for three years in a row, and she’ll extend her record as the most awarded artist in the history of the category with five total Video of the Year victories. Fans can vote right now for the winners across 15 gender-neutral categories by visiting vote.mtv.com through Friday, August 30. Voting for Best New Artist will be open into the show on Tuesday, September 10. Nominations for social categories will be announced at a later date. The awards will air from New York’s UBS Arena on September 10 at 8:00pm Eastern and Pacific.
