Dina Asher-Smith heartbreakingly misses out on medal by 0.02 SECONDS in Olympics 2024 women’s 200m final
DINA ASHER-SMITH missed out on a medal in the women’s 200m.
The Team GB star could only watch on as USA’s Gabrielle Thomas clinched gold.
Dina Asher-Smith only just missed out on a medal[/caption]Asher-Smith was unable to get herself on the podium as Saint Lucia’s Julien Alfred and USA’s Brittany Brown took silver and bronze.
The Brit was agonisingly close to a medal as she was only 0.02 seconds off third place.
She completed the event with a time of just 22.22 seconds.
Asher-Smith’s team-mate Daryll Neita was only just behind as she finished the race in 22.23 seconds.
