Power Finance Corporation net profit rises 24% in June quarter to ₹3,718 crore

Power Finance Corporation (PFC) reported a 24% increase in net profit for the quarter ending June, reaching ₹3,718 crore. The company's interest income rose approximately 17% to ₹11,827 crore. Additionally, PFC's loan asset portfolio expanded by 10% to ₹4.75 lakh crore as of June 30. The company also noted that no new non-performing assets (NPAs) were added over the past year. The gross NPAs ratio decreased by 44 basis points during the quarter, falling to 3.38%.
