NFL fans were so grossed out after the Arizona Cardinals introduced a cotton candy burrito for this season
Are they trying to chip a tooth?
In recent years, teams across every American sports league have tried to think outside the box with outrageous concession foods. And even the most ridiculous concepts usually have a culinary (and functional) thought behind them.
I’m not so sure that could be said about the latest offering from the Arizona Cardinals.
As the Cardinals unveiled some of the menu items at State Farm Stadium for the upcoming season on Tuesday, the team made note of its signature item … a cotton candy burrito.
The monstrosity is ice cream, candy and Froot Loops wrapped with cotton candy in burrito fashion. I mean, look at this thing.

Sure, it’s a sugar bomb and a total novelty item. But someone really had to point out the fundamental flaw in mixing Skittles with M&M’s in ice cream and then concealing them. That’s a chipped tooth waiting to happen. And if fans are supposed to eat it like a burrito, they’re not leaving the game without half of its contents all over themselves.
These items are made for the attention, and the Cardinals certainly got that with the fan reaction.
