Police ID man killed in I-84 head-on crash involving woman accused of DUII
PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) – Authorities have identified the man killed by a head-on crash involving another driver going the wrong way on I-84 in June, police announced Tuesday.
John M. Boyd, 44, had been driving westbound near Northeast 162nd Avenue when another vehicle traveling east in the westbound lane crashed into him, officials say.
Police took Boyd to the hospital, but he soon died of his injuries.
The other driver, 34-year-old Heather Greig, was later indicted on charges of first-degree manslaughter, DUII, recklessly endangering another person, and reckless driving.
