NY pro bull riding team debuts in Brooklyn this weekend

BROOKLYN, N.Y. (PIX11) ---Strap on those cowboy boots and mosey on down to Brooklyn to see some bold bull riders in action this weekend.

The New York Mavericks bull riding team debuts at the Barclays Center on Saturday and Sunday as part of the Professional Bull Riders (PBR) Teams League. The Mavericks will host the Kansas City Outlaws and Florida Freedom. The action kicks off at 7:45 p.m. each night.

In the team competition, five riders square off against one another in 8-second bull rides. The team with the highest scores wins the game.

The Mavericks are currently 2-5 in the league and are led by bull riders Brady Rudolph, Marco Rizzo, Hudson Bolton, and Maverick Smith.
