City of Broussard teams up with Retail Strategies for new business development

BROUSSARD, La. (KLFY) - It's hard to deny the progress of cities like Broussard, when you look around and see all that's happening. In an effort to make sure the city continues to stand at the forefront of progress, Mayor Ray Bourque joined up with Retail Strategies.

For more than a year, the Broussard team kept in contact with Retail Strategies, designing a plan to bolster national retail and restaurant tenants in the area. Broussard Mayor Ray Bourque believes this benefits more than just new business, "Now what we're able to do is look at statistical and demographic information, as well as sales leakage, which will help our existing businesses. But also they're the experts in making connections to the national brands that we're trying to attract. "

Lyndsey Bailey, with Retail Strategies, says working with Broussard makes their job easy, "They've got a really clear vision for what they want in Broussard. And so it's really great for us to partner with those who are already super invested in seeing their communities grow."
