Kamala Harris and Tim Walz just made their first appearance as running mates!

The Presidential and Vice Presidential candidates appeared together at a rally event at Girard College on Tuesday afternoon (August 6) in Philadelphia, Penn.

Earlier in the day, Kamala announced that Tim would be her running mate, ending the speculation over who she’d pick as her VP candidate.

Kamala released a touching video on her Instagram page, showing the moment she called Tim on the phone to offer him the position on the ticket.

“When I called @TimWalz this morning to ask him to join our campaign, I shared my deep level of respect for him and the work we’ve done together. We’re going to unify this country and we’re going to win. Let’s go get this done,” she wrote on Instagram.
