I’m a makeup artist & swear by £2.50 product in my 6-min glam routine, you’re sleeping under a rock if you don’t use it
A MAKEUP artist has revealed the £2.50 item she swears by for her everyday look – and joked you’re “sleeping under a rock” if you don’t use it.
Devon Goonan regularly posts beauty and fashion tips for her 81,000 followers on TikTok (@devongoonan_).
In a recent post, the talented MUA – from Aberdeen – lifted the lid on her six-minute beauty routine.
And there’s a bargain item that she even recommends to her brow clients.
In her TikTok clip (@devongoonan_), she said: “Let’s do my makeup together and get ready for the day.
“I’m never very fussy with my everyday makeup, my whole routine is products I’ve been using for years now.”
She added: “I don’t really use much before I go in with my skin routine, however never use a serum under makeup because it makes your makeup roll and if you ever get that creasing there, that is why.
“So I usually just tend to use a basic everyday moisturiser.”
After her basic skincare, Devon goes straight in with NARS Natural Radiant Longwear foundation before applying Maybelline’s erase concealer under her eyes.
Next up, she sets her base with the Huda loose powder which she insists “makes your eyes look smoother and softer”.
“I always make sure my face is really well set because I hate the feeling of sticky makeup on your face”, she said.
She then warms her cheeks with MAC bronzer and Giordana Tisha powder blush.
And sharing a simple beauty trick, Devon also used her bronzer on her eyes as she joked “eyeshadow basically does not exist to me anymore”.
But it was a clear mascara that the makeup artist used on her brows that proved to be a bargain hack.
She said: “At this point there is no need to speak about this, the Collection clear mascara.
“If you don’t already have it or you’re sleeping under a rock, this is what you need.
“I tell all my brow clients to get this and it’s literally £2.50.
“Just need to slightly drag it through your brows and you’re done.”
Once her eyebrows were set, Devon used a brow pomade to add thin hairstrokes to make them look “more bold”.
With just seconds left to complete her makeup routine, the blonde beauty applied a NYX lip pencil and Charlotte Tilbury lipstick in viral shade Pillow Talk before sealing the look with a setting spray.
Devon concluded: “And this full makeup routine took me six minutes.
“I do it every single day. Same products, every single day and that’s how it looks.”
