Sharing a sweet picture of the pair together, Avi wrote: “Today, we said goodbye to my little sis, Evani.

“Evani was genuinely 1 in a trillion—so selfless, and such a bright spark. I’m going to miss you like crazy.

“This experience has taught me to appreciate every moment. I’ve broken down in front of my family many times this week.

“As a ‘masculine’ man, this isn’t how I’ve been raised.

“I’ve been conditioned to hold it in; to be strong for other people. That’s the normal message, right?

“Recently, I’ve been completely in tune with my emotions. I was my true self.

“You turned this into a beautiful time of reflecting and reminiscing about you.

“You left us the day after turning 16. What saddens me most is when I think of how bright your future could’ve been.

“You were one of those rare people who could achieve anything they set their mind to.

“But I find solace in knowing that you’re no longer suffering.

“You give me strength. I know you’re watching over me.

“Evani, I promise to make you proud.”

Many fans rushed to share their condolences with Avi, as well as former cast mates.

Rochelle Anthony said: “Omg avi! I am so sorry to hear!! I had no clue! ???? truly heart broken for you all! Sending love to you and the family xx.”

Dani Donovan said: Avi this is heartbreaking I am so sorry for your loss. Sending so much love to you and your family.

Series 18 star Amina Khan wrote: “I’m so sorry to hear about your loss ????I had no idea! RIP beautiful girl ❤.”

Avi is best known for starring in the seventeenth series of The Apprentice last year.

The city banker was the youngest of his series, but he was fired after the ninth task.

Marnie Swindells won the show, and Rochelle Anthony was runner-up.
