Beth, 33, revealed doctors found an abscess in her pelvis and didn’t know how much damage it has caused.

She’s now high risk and will not be allowed to leave hospital or “go anywhere”.

Beth, who is expecting her baby with Love Island star boyfriend Connagh Howard, said doctors had some theories, adding: “Who wants to be thinking about that post partum?

“And it’s apaprently going to be big surgery because they don’t know why the abscess is there. Has it perforated anything?

“They don’t know whether the abscess is a consequence of the pregnancy, everything stretching or whether it’s to do with something else.”

She went on: “I mean I have to have IV antibiotics every day.

“The worse thing is the uncertainty, there’s no timeline, it’s rare to deal with somebody who has an abscess in their pelvis during pregnancy. Like just, how are you meant to process anything when there are so many uncertainties?

“It’s just so hard. And when you’re sat here on your own all day, bless Connagh he’s gone to get food, he sits here all day, my whole family are on holiday. It’s just like four walls closing in.

“All day every day. And you just think about everything, it’s just so scary.”

Beth said she wanted to inform her followers because she gets a lot of “help and support”.

She added in a post on her stories: “Someone messaged me yesterday to say ‘you’ve been through more than most go through in their whole life; in this pregnancy, youre so strong’ and it really made me stop & think…”

Beth is expecting a baby boy after going through a traumatic fertility struggle.

She had been trying to get pregnant since 2019 after a year of dating Connagh.

The reality star thought that the endometriosis surgery that she had last year would help her start a family, but still hadn’t become pregnant.

She was then referred to a fertility clinic in September 2022, and in November, Connagh, who was on Love Island in 2020, had his first semen analysis – which came back borderline.

He retested in February 2023 and everything had “improved” after cutting out protein supplements.

Beth later had eight sessions of acupuncture to try and help her get pregnant, but it didn’t work.

Last March they were told that it is “unexplained infertility”, so they were offered IVF.

Beth and Connagh started dating in early 2020 just before lockdown.

In 2021 they revealed they were finally moved out with Beth’s family home after living with her parents for a whole year.

The love birds got into a relationship just before the UK were put into lockdown because of the coronavirus, so they had to move in together pretty quick.

Beth started dating Jack Quirk after they lived together in The Circle, while Connagh was linked to Rebecca Gormley in the villa.

What is IVF

The process involves removing an egg from a woman’s ovaries and fertilising them using sperm in a labratory.

The fertilised egg, also known as the embryo, is transferred back into a woman’s womb to grow.

The process can use eggs and sperm from the couple themselves, or these can be sourced from a doctor.
