ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- Happy Wednesday friends! Meteorologist Matt Mackie says as the day goes on more and more people will get breaks of sunshine with highs in the mid to upper 70s and low humidity.

A woman was reported missing out of Schoharie County. Also, an arrest warrant was issued regarding the Lola Saratoga burglary from 2023. This, and more, in your five things to know this Wednesday.

1. Schoharie County woman reported missing

The Schoharie County Sheriff’s Office announced they are searching for Carlie Mace, who was reported missing on August 5. Deputies say her family has not been in contact with her for several weeks.

2. Arrest warrant issued for 2023 Lola Saratoga burglary

The Saratoga Springs Police Department reported that a warrant has been issued for the arrest of Toron Melton, 34, of Washington D.C. Melton is accused of burglarizing Lola Saratoga on Broadway back in 2023.

3. Albany Police investigating two stolen dogs

An investigation is underway after a family tells NEWS10 that their two dogs were stolen from their front porch over the weekend. While Albany Police look into the disappearance, the owners say they are offering a $2,000 reward for their return.

4. Cold Case Analysis Center opens at UAlbany

A new cold case analysis center opened at the University at Albany. Starting this fall, UAlbany students will be able to help investigative agencies solve cold cases, including missing persons and unsolved crimes through internships in the Cold Case Analysis Center.

5. State Police investigating human remains found in Knox

New York State Police are investigating human remains that were found in Knox near Villeneuve Drive on July 21 around 7: 48 p.m. An investigation began after a Schoharie County resident contacted state police.
