People’s jaws drop when they find out I’m 41 –  a £3.99 oil makes the biggest difference keeping wrinkles at bay

A WOMAN has revealed that people’s jaws drop to the floor when they realise she is in her 40s, and shared her top tips for glowing and supple skin.

Maggie Rose said that everything she uses on her face has been all natural, and added that she does not use Botox.

The 41-year-old often shares skincare tips and trips for her TikTok account, and in a recent video, shared the three things she swears by to look decades younger that her actual age.

In the video, Maggie replied to a comment from a TikTok user which read: “When you said 40, my jaw dropped.”

In response, she said: “Yes, i’m in my 40s, I will be 42 this fall.

“Everything I use on my skin is natural.”

Lalena Oil

Maggie said that one of the products which has made the biggest difference to her appearance is Lalena Oil.

It is a blend of Castor Oil, Rosehip Oil and Black Seed Oil, and Maggie said that it is “deeply hydrating.”

She said: “Castor Oil goes down into the deep layers of skin, and rosehip has been known as a natural Tretinoin.”

Maggie said that the oil has helped with softness, wrinkles, puffiness, and hyperpigmentation.

Frankincense Resin Oil

Maggie also swears by an oil that has been infused with Frankincense resin to keep her looking young and healthy.

“It has what is called Bakuchiol in it, which is supposed to be a natural form of retinol”, she said.

Tips to age well

There are a number of habits you can take up to care for your health and wellbeing as you age.

Age UK shared the following tips:

  • Do things that you enjoy everyday – whether that’s cooking, seeing friends or enjoying a good book
  • Stay hydrated – drink six to eight cups of water a day
  • Eat plenty of fruit and veggies to lower your risk of heart disease and certain cancers, have beans, pulses, fish, eggs and meat to repair your body after injury, starchy carbs for energy dairy to help keep bones strong
  • Manage long-term health conditions to prevent them progressing or having a greater impact on your health
  • Quit smoking and reduce alcohol intake to no more than 14 units a week
  • Make mental health a priority and get treatment for it, as it can also impact physical health
  • Make sure you’re getting quality sleep
  • Keep socialising – and call a friend or loved one if you can’t make it out the house

Maggie’s video, which was posted under the username @maggieroseadvocate, has likely left many people impressed, as it has racked up over 1.6 million views on the video sharing platform.

TikTok users raced to the video’s comments section to share their thoughts.
