The lovely moment a King’s Guard horse gently nuzzled a disabled woman has been featured on video.

The soldier noticed the young woman in her wheelchair and slowly encourages the horse to walk towards her.

She can be seen looking ahead before she slowly begins to notice that the horse is behind her.

After she turns around, she can be seen gazing up and laughing at the animal as she throws her head back in delight.

The horse then looks straight towards her and she smiles widely with joy.

She is accompanied by a man in a baseball cap and blue jumper, and the horse then nuzzles his arm.

The King’s Guard then gently retreats with the horse, as the man walks off back into the crowd with the woman in the wheelchair and another young girl who accompanied the both of them.

Once they were back with everybody else, people could be heard saying ‘wow’ and ‘that’s so cool’.

One woman tells her: ‘No one gets that.’

People were also quick to respond to the video that was posted on The King’s Guards and Horse UK YouTube channel.

A user called niknax5159 commented: ‘The smallest act can mean so much to another. I love this Guard-he is always showing kindness towards special needs visitors.’

While Tedza Bowski wrote: ‘This guard was not only special and sensitive. I hope he is treated as sensitively as he treated these people.’

Another YouTube user sassycat6487 added: ‘He made that young ladies day what a sweetheart.’

However the King’s Guard horses have lashed out at tourists in the past – despite signs telling them: ‘Beware, horses may kick or bite’.

They are also told not to touch the horses.

A tourist keeled over in July after she was bitten by a horse despite watching other people get nipped by it beforehand.

Frustrated by the woman, the horse turns its head towards her and chomps on her arm before she yelps out and runs away.

In a dramatic twist, she then keels over and falls to the floor as concerned tourists then surround her and form a circle.

They cradle and fan her as she comes to terms with what has just happened.

Police officers checked on her but she was not taken to hospital.
