An evening of live music in the mountains

An evening of live music in the mountains

August’s events agenda may be slower than the rest of the year as the island enters its lazy, beach-lounging, holiday mode yet rest assured, events are still happening. Traditional festivals, mountain escapes, beach parties and one-day music fests are on. In fact, an upcoming music festival will take music lovers to the heart of Kyperounda. Get ready for the 5th edition of the Antilalos Music Festival.

Happening on August 13 at the Community Park, an evening of live music will take place, celebrating local talent. From 8pm onwards, nine different acts will take the stage as the festival welcomes a total of 21 artists.

Performing first will be Stella Herodotou accompanied by three more musicians. Then the four-piece Yaraman Band will perform live, followed by Irini Pelagia on violin and vocals, Zina Meleki on keyboard and Marios Stylianou on cello. A performance by Anna Kalogirou will follow, then by Raphael Hadjimichael, Chrysostomos Kolovos and Theodora Chroni and finally by Evdokia Kadi. The last two acts of the night will be by Constantinos Hadjipolykarpou and Christos Kypris.

Best of all, entrance to the festival and the live music is free. The only thing festival-goers will have to pay for is food and drinks. On the menu will be souvlaki and burgers, of course, beers and a few other beverages to add to the good mood of the evening.
