OKC Humane showcases furry friends ready for a forever home
OKLAHOMA CITY (KFOR) - The Oklahoma Humane Society is on a mission to end needless euthanasia of dogs and cats in Oklahoma!
OK Humane is currently promoting its adoption program, low cost spay and neuter clinic alongside other initiatives helping to increase the state's live-release rate of animals from local shelters.
Donations are always appreciated as it can pave the way for more animals finding their new forever home each year. To learn more about different contribution options, click here.
This week OKC Humane is showcasing your next family addition!
Meet Dibs!
Dibs is a sassy 3-year-old boy has a lot of personality. He’s a great snuggler at night and arguably one of the world’s best huggers. Dibs loves attention and will be eager to climb up in your arms or on your shoulder when you get home. He adores both human and animal companionship and will want to meet every guest you have over. Dibs has refined his conversation skills and enjoys letting you know about his day. Come meet and talk with this sweet boy!
Meet Doodlebob!
Doodlebob is a charming 12-year-old pup weighing 12 pounds who's ready to find a loving home to spend his golden years. Doodlebob gets along with everyone-people, cats, and dogs of all sizes. He enjoys relaxing in his crate. His friendly and easygoing nature makes him a wonderful companion for any household. However, he doesn't like to share his food. Since Doodlebob is in his retirement age, he's very low energy and loves nothing more than finding a cozy spot to curl up in.
Meet Cosette!
Cosette is 5 years old and 50 pounds. She's ready to bring endless joy to her new family. Cosette or "Cosi" is very respectful of other dogs and gets along well with them. However, she's still learning to be around cats and might need some guidance. One of her best qualities is her ability to settle into her crate. With the help of a few treats, Cosi will happily go into her crate and sleep quietly through the night and while her family is away. She absolutely loves toys and will be happiest in an active home where she can receive enrichment and training. She's ready to be an excellent companion for someone who is looking for a loyal and affectionate dog-shaped shadow.
