One killed in Marine Drive motorcycle crash

One person is dead following a motorcycle crash early Wednesday morning, authorities said.

PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) -- One person is dead following a motorcycle crash early Wednesday morning, authorities said.

According to Portland police, officers responded before 6 a.m. to North Marine Drive where there had been a crash between a motorcycle and another vehicle.

The driver of the motorcycle was pronounced dead at the scene and the other driver stayed and is cooperating with police.

During the investigation, North Marine Drive from North Force Avenue to North Portland Road will be closed to traffic officials said.
