I-35 in San Marcos reopens after crash near River Ridge Parkway closes northbound lanes

Interstate 35 in San Marcos is back to normal after a crash near River Ridge Parkway closed all northbound lanes early Wednesday morning.

SAN MARCOS, Texas (KXAN) -- Interstate 35 in San Marcos is back to normal after a crash near River Ridge Parkway closed all northbound lanes early Wednesday morning.

The Texas Department of Transportation first posted about the crash on X at 7:14 a.m. By 10 a.m., all lanes were back open, according to San Marcos police.

San Marcos police said Wednesday morning officers were investigating and working to clear lanes after a non-fatal accident involving a jackknifed 18-wheeler.

The affected area was northbound near exit 208 (Carlson Circle).
