‘It Ends With Us’ Premiere: See the Shoe Looks From Blake Lively, Justin Baldoni, Ryan Reynolds and More
Christian Louboutin was a popular brand on the hot pink carpet at movie's New York premiere.
Blake Lively‘s stunning press tour for her new romantic drama film “It Ends With Us” culminated in a star-studded New York premiere last night on Aug. 6, where the actress delivered not one but two striking looks to celebrate the screen adaptation of Colleen Hoover’s popular novel.
Also in attendance was Justin Baldoni, who directed the film and stars opposite Lively, in addition to other cast members including Brandon Sklenar, Jenny Slate and Hasan Minhaj. To walk the pink carpet, Lively wore a fitted Versace gown in pastel hues, a dress previously worn by Britney Spears in 2002, who the actress said was someone who inspired her when she was growing up. She paired the vintage piece with silver-heeled sandals from Christian Louboutin featuring a holographic effect.
As expected, Lively did not limit herself to just one outfit the night of her big premiere. For the after-party, she changed into a short playful pink dress with a swishing skirt and corset-style lace-up bodice. She unified the look with pink Christian Louboutin heels featuring crystal-adorned criss-crossing straps.
Director and co-star Justin Baldoni selected white horse-bit loafers to go with a light pink suit, which he paired with a white undershirt. His wife Emily Baldoni opted for a glittering form-fitting silver dress and matching heeled sandals adorned with large floral embellishments.
Hugh Jackman was also in attendance and brought laid-back yet stylish charm to the event with white sneakers complementing a white and beige look. Ryan Reynolds and Lively’s co-star Brandon Sklenar also looked dapper in leather dress shoes paired with white shirts and green suits. Reynolds specifically wore brown brogues, which feature a perforated design.
Isabela Ferrer, who plays a younger version of Lively’s Lily Bloom character in the film, wore Christian Louboutin’s Tudor Bal heel with a billowing floral gown.
Ferrer switched things up for the after-party in a strapless minidress embellished with flowers and feathers. For her footwear, she slipped on Louboutin’s Gelila heels which stand out with pearl detailing.
Lively also posed alongside sisters Lori and Robyn and their mother Elaine. The matriarch went all-black with a long dress and square-toe platforms while Lori wore a pale blue asymmetrical dress with leaf-adorned sandals including a strap wrapping several times around the ankle. Robyn, meanwhile, wore sparkling So Kate pumps with an emerald green gown.
Also featured in the film, Hasan Minhaj was well-coordinated with his wife Beena Patel for the premiere. Patel wore a blue and yellow gown matching her husband’s mustard-colored suit. The comedian completed the outfit with black loafers featuring an orange trim.
“America’s Next Top Mode” creative director Jay Manuel curated a distinctive look including a gray blazer, ripped jean shorts, and footwear of epic proportions, opting for a pair of oversized Balenciaga Cargo Sneaker.
“Sex and the City” and “Gossip Girl” stylist Eric Daman showed off his flair for fashion in a colorful patchwork outfit and black leather platform shoes.
“It Ends With Us” hits theaters on Aug. 9.
