Paris Olympics: Avinash Sable finishes 11th in men's 3000m steeplechase final

Avinash Sable ended in 11th place in the men's 3000m steeplechase at the Paris Olympics, clocking 8:14.18 minutes. Earlier, Sable had broken his national record at the Paris Diamond League. Morocco's Soufiane El Bakkali won gold. Triple jumpers Praveen Chitravel and Abdulla Aboobacker failed to make it to the finals.
