A BRIDE-TO-BE, 28, has died in a tragic accident after her motorbike crashed into a car, leaving her heartbroken family.

Shelby Smith, 28, from Swindon, was killed when her Kawasaki ZR motorcycle collided with a car near Long Newnton.

Emergency services rushed to the scene of the collision on the B4014 between Tetbury and Malmesbury, but tragically, Shelby could not be saved.

Heartbroken, her family have payed an emotional tribute to Shelby, who they described as ‘vibrant’.

In this heartfelt statement, the family said: “Shelby was full to the brim of dreams”.

Her family described her as a woman whose infectious laughter could brighten even the darkest of nights.

The statement read: “Shelby was tragically taken from us aged just 28.

“She was a daughter, sister, granddaughter, fiancée, and friend. She was vibrant, full of life, love, and laughter.”

The family added: “Shelby was fiercely protective of her loved ones and full of dreams for continued adventures and travelling.

“Her smile could light up even the darkest of nights and her laughter was so incredibly infectious that you couldn’t help but laugh with her.”

Shelby’s independence and bravery shone through in everything she did, and her loved ones vow to keep her adventurous spirit alive.

They continued: “She was taken from us far too soon and will be missed immensely, thought of daily, and loved always.”

The grieving family extended their gratitude to everyone who has offered support and placed flowers in Shelby’s memory.
