Travis Co. ESD 12: Crews battling 'large' trash fire off Decker Lane

Crews are battling a blaze near northeast Austin, and crews will be out at the scene for awhile, a Travis County ESD 12 spokesperson told KXAN Wednesday.

AUSTIN (KXAN) -- Crews are battling a blaze in east Austin, and crews will be out at the scene for awhile, a Travis County ESD 12 spokesperson told KXAN Wednesday.

In addition to Travis County ESD 12, Travis County ESD 2 and Austin-Travis County EMS responded to 10506 Decker Lane. The call came in for a trash fire, and now the "fire is large," the spokesperson said.

The Austin Fire Department also confirmed on social media about "receiving an influx of calls" about the fire. ATCEMS medics said on social media those call "are not necessary," as crews continue to battle the fire.

ATCEMS medics said on social media no patients or injuries were reported at this time but will update if that changes.
