FORECAST DISCUSSION:

Good Wednesday Evening,

It has been a cooler than normal day today, with highs only in the lower 80s, the coolest since July 22nd. Tonight, the skies will start to clear, with lows still dropping to the mid to upper 60s. Thursday will be a warmer day with sunshine in the morning, and a few clouds in the afternoon. What we will be watching for is isolated showers/storms possible on the far northwest fringe of Tropical Storm Debby.

We will be far enough away to the center of circulation from this storm, so I do not expect severe or heavy rainfall from any of these showers/storms. Highs on Thursday will top around 90. Friday we will still be on the far northwest/west fringe of what is left of Debby, along with a cold front that will be approaching and pushing through our area.

Expect plenty of clouds during the day on Friday with highs near normal in the middle 80s. Rain showers will taper off early Friday night, with clearing skies, and lows falling to the middle 50s, well below normal for this time of the year. Saturday should be a beautiful day with tons of sunshine and highs in the upper 70s. We will be very comfortable again on Sunday with temps in the 50s in the morning, and upper 70s late in the day.

Expect a few more clouds to return on Monday with highs near 80. The storm track appears to stay near our area, but just to our south on Tuesday and Wednesday. At this time, it looks like that will keep temps just below normal, and rain chances to our immediate south. Highs both Tuesday and Wednesday will be in the lower 80s.
