Montgomery County bicycling advocates meetup in Gaithersburg
WABA is heading up-county for our next Montgomery County bicycling advocates meetup. Please join us Wednesday, August 21, 5 pm to 7 pm at Saints Row Brewing in Gaithersburg.
All are welcome; come by at any time. RSVP requested to help us with the appetizers/snacks order. (Buy your own beverages.)
WABA Advocacy is organizing this event, but it’s for all cyclists, not just activists. We’ll talk bike lanes, parks, legislation, and safe streets AND rides, routes, and community.
As usual, we’re inviting elected officials and we’ll have a few speakers starting around 6 pm including Gaithersburg Councilmember Neil Harris. We’d also like to hear from you – one-on-one and as part of group discussion – about your priorities for WABA, whether relating to projects, policy, or activities.

And finally, please save the date: The 5th Great Montgomery County Bike Summit will take place Sunday afternoon, September 29, 2024, 2 pm-5 pm in Wheaton. We haven’t posted an agenda yet, but registration (free!) is open.
