Women are more aware of their rights, says Haryana Women’s Commission chairperson Renu Bhatia

After reviewing 14 cases in Gurgaon, Haryana women's commission chairperson Renu Bhatia highlighted an increase in women's awareness of their rights. Cases included domestic violence, dowry, and mental harassment. Some were dismissed, others were set for rehearing, and one resulted in alimony for the complainant. Bhatia emphasized the importance of public hearings and warned against false complaints.
