CLAIRE Sweeney looked unrecognisable as she ditched her makeup in a brand new Instagram post.
Actress Claire, 53, gave fans an update on her battle with the skin condition, perioral dermatitis, in the video.
Speaking to fans from her car, she shared her struggle with the persistent issue, despite trying various recommended products.
The Coronation Street star explained how she’s planning to start applying Lion’s Leaf and is considering antibiotics if that doesn’t work.
Since she maintains a healthy lifestyle, Claire said she’s frustrated with the lack of progress in clearing up her skin.
She said: “Hi guys. I’m back in Liverpool now. Got the makeup off, got the hair back. I have to do Lorraine this morning.
“Just about to go to the gym and do a workout. Just giving you a little update about my skin.
“Now, hmm. It’s still not great. I managed to cover it with makeup, but, look, It seems to have travelled.
“If you can see in the daylight there. It seems to have travelled out here. Now it always stayed just here and in there and now it seems to be traveling out on my face a little bit.,” she added, pointing to various spots on her face.
“See, I’ve tried all the recommended things, all the things you guys have recommended.
“The La Roche Baume Cicaplast. I’ve been using that. I’m carrying on using my cleanser. Anthropic cleanser I’ve been using and that’s nice and it’s mild, but nothing seems to be clearing it up.
“I’ve also been using, I’ve just today gone on to the Dermalogica sensitive stuff. Now, I’m gonna try that and see if that works.
“And I’ve also ordered a balm called Lion’s Leaf, which is a completely natural product. So I’m gonna try the Dermalogica now and then I’m gonna try Lion’s Leaf if that doesn’t work.
“But, I don’t know, I’ve been eating healthy. I’ve been drinking loads of water. I don’t know what the answer is. I really don’t know.
“Maybe I do need to do the antibiotics. A lot of people have recommended Dysoxylidone, something like that and Lymecycline or something.
“They’ve all got X’s in anyway, so I’m gonna, that’s gonna be my next step. It’s just getting time to get to the doctors and getting an appointment. So that’s the update on my skin.”
Elsewhere in Claire’s life, she’s been blissfully in love with her man Ricky Hatton, 45.
The Dancing On Ice 2024 stars met earlier this year and have since been spotted out on a series of sweet outings after making things official.
After returning from a recent holiday to Tenerife, Claire and Ricky soaked up the sunshine at the Lytham Festival over the weekend.
They captured the crowds gathering at the northern event to watch The Lightening Seeds, with a headline slot by Rick Astley.
Soap star Claire donned a trendy denim jumpsuit and gold hoop earrings for the outdoor event.
She styled her blonde hair into loose waves and pulled on a pair of sunglasses as she watched from a VIP box.
Claire captured herself snuggling into the three times light welterweight, who chose a black top and matching dark denim jacket.
The cute couple posed for an Instagram snap with the stage behind them, before cuddling up for a second image where the soap star icon nuzzled her head into his shoulder.
In her image caption she gushed: “Brilliant day here @lythamfestival with my @rickyhitmanhatton.”
Claire finished her words with a red love heart.
Her celeb pal Vanessa Feltz was quick to gush: “Love you two together. You have never looked prettier or happier. Fabulous!!!”
A fan then wrote: “You two look great together,” as a third continued: “Looking good, the both of yous.”
One fan added: “You like such a happy couple,” as another posted: “So happy for you Claire you deserve the best.”
A follower rounded off with the words: “You make a very happy couple.”

The Sun exclusively revealed that Claire and Ricky were secretly dating in April, with the pair enjoying a night out in Manchester.
The duo then made their first red carpet appearance as a couple at Manchester’s Co-Op Live.
Earlier in the year, Ricky was quick to brand the Coronation Street star “gorgeous” as he celebrated her birthday.
The pair have been secretly dating for months – with pals claiming “they have spark.”
A friend told MailOnline of their partnership and said: “Claire and Ricky have become really close. She wasn’t looking for a relationship but then Ricky came along and it just felt right and natural and she’s really happy.
“She signed up for a reality TV show and met a great guy so it feels a bit like winning the lottery and she’s really counting her blessings as it all came from nowhere and often that’s the best way.
“She’s now really looking forward to introducing Ricky to her family and friends soon and they are really looking forward to the guy who has put a smile on Claire’s face.”
