A DOLLAR Tree fanatic has sparked a rush to the discount store after sharing a hack for banishing body odor and acne.
Shoppers said it was a “great idea” and gushed about her useful tip for protecting sensitive skin.
TikToker @DollarTreeMegan is steadily growing a following by sharing her “obsession” with Dollar Tree.
She went viral on the social media app when she revealed how she gets rid of a common skin concern using a $1.25 buy.
SIMPLE SOLUTION
She told viewers to purchase Dermasil Glycolic Acid from Dollar Tree and a 2-pack of spray bottles from the crafting section.
As the spray lid doesn’t fit on the container the acid is sold in, she recommended transferring the liquid into the spray bottles.
Megan raved that the glycolic acid comes in handy for treating various issues.
“It can be sprayed on your face to reduce acne,” she said.
“It helps smooth small bumps and fades scars, along with on your back or any body part for body acne.
“And if you put this on your armpits it will help to kill the bacteria which makes you smell when you sweat.”
She recommended putting a label on the spray bottle so it wouldn’t get misplaced among other beauty products.
She added that glycolic acid should be used with extra sun protection because it makes skin sensitive.
“Make it a habit to spray this on your face and apply sunscreen right after,” one viewer commented.

Dr. Michael Aziz, an internist and the author of the upcoming book The Ageless Revolution, revealed five habits of young-looking people.
“Sunscreen protects your skin by acting as a barrier against harmful UV rays,” Dr. Aziz told The U.S. Sun.
“There are two main types of sunscreen ingredients: mineral and chemical.
“Mineral ingredients like zinc oxide and titanium dioxide form a physical shield, reflecting UV light away from the skin.
“Without SPF protection, your skin may develop uneven pigmentation in an effort to shield itself from the sun’s rays, leading to potential sun damage such as sunspots and premature aging.
“Using sunscreen is essential to prevent this and maintain healthy skin.”

According to Medical News Today, glycolic acid can be beneficial for anti-aging as well as targeting skin concerns such as acne and damage caused by UV light exposure.
Experts recommend doing a patch test with a low strength of glycolic acid and gradually increasing usage as advised by a dermatologist.
As it increases the risk of sunburn, it’s recommended to apply glycolic acid at night and always wear sunscreen during the day.
Adverse reactions such as redness, itching, and burning may occur if glycolic acid is used too frequently or if the solution is too strong.
