Delays hit major Underground line and flights cancelled at London airports

The UK summer holidays are in full swing, but it has not been all smooth sailing after disruption on the London Underground and at London Euston station.

Travel on the Elizabeth line has been disrupted between London Paddington and Heathrow Airport after a signal failure, with delays and cancellations expected until midday.

At Euston Station, passengers face disruption for a second day after a signal failure between Euston and Watford Junction which is expected to clear by midday.

Meanwhile, some holiday flights have been axed at Heathrow and Gatwick airports today.
