Mass consumers make up 80% of online shoppers: Meesho report
Meesho reported that 80% of online shoppers in India are mass consumers with household incomes between Rs 2.5 lakh and Rs 10 lakh. Most hail from beyond tier 2 towns, driving categories such as fashion, footwear, and baby care. Uttar Pradesh and Bihar lead growth, with notable increases in beauty, electronics, and home categories.
