Karnataka Congress MLA accused of forcing cops to book govt official

A government employee accused Sagar MLA Gopalakrishna Belur and police officials of targeting him and demanding a bribe. The MLA denied the influence and claimed no personal knowledge of the staff member. Police reported that the employee was involved in illegal activities, including a narcotic case, and misusing his position.
