'Easy to live in Trump’s head': Harris aides hint at how they are rattling  ex-president

As part of a deep dive into how Donald Trump's presidential campaign has been spiraling into chaos and finger-pointing as the campaign of Vice President Kamala is soaring with massive rally crowds and a flood of donations, the Washington Post is reporting that aides to Harris are taking credit for derailing what had been a well-disciplined Trump campaign.

As the Post's Josh Dawsey and Michael Sheerer are reporting, the former president has been hunkered down at Mar-a-Lago fuming to friends over how "unfair" it is that he now has to face Harris instead of President Joe Biden, while also raging about her rallies that are drawing massive and boisterous crowds.

Those crowds, and reports about them, are reportedly knocking the Trump campaign off the rails by making the former president question if he is being well-served by the inner circle running his third bid for the Oval Office.

According to the Post, Harris' people have figured out a way to manage the former president who, in turn, is making life miserable for his campaign staff.

"Democrats and some in Trump’s orbit have tried to highlight social media posts from Trump advisers and allies that they say show fear or bad messaging, while trying to stoke division in other ways," the report notes. "The Harris campaign has circulated posts and news releases about his staff, the pick of Sen. JD Vance (Ohio) as his running mate, crowd size, and other topics they say will grate on Trump and cause him to say controversial things."

One Harris aide suggested talking about the size of the Harris rally being bigger than Trump's is having an effect on how the ex-president moves forward as the vice president's prospects of keeping Trump out of the White House experience a massive jump.

“It’s easy to live in Donald Trump’s head,” they explained.

"A Tuesday afternoon post from Trump on his Truth Social media site — which included a number of nicknames, falsehoods and baseless accusations — suggested he was still steaming," the report added.
