Trump says liberals attack 'our brilliant and fair judges' — despite his own judicial jabs

Donald Trump had a multi-post meltdown on Truth Social Thursday morning and among his accusations were the allegations that Democrats are attacking "fair judges and justices."

"The Radical Left Lunatics always attack our Brilliant and Fair Judges and Justices," wrote the former president. "That’s the name of the game - They think they’ll 'cower,' and give them decisions that they don’t deserve."

Trump has spent more than a year attacking New York Judges Juan Merchan and Arthur Engoron, as well as Judge Tanya Chutkan, and the prosecutors in his cases.

Trump's attacks on Judge Merchan resulted in threats against his daughter. Some judges and lawyers Trump has attacked have reportedly been forced to obtain security to help ensure their protection. The judge issuing a gag order against Trump has protected jurors involved in Trump's case.

According to Trump, it's Democrats who “play the Ref,” alleging "what they do is probably illegal," though he didn't describe what he meant.

Despite his years of attacks against the judges, Trump claims, "It is the Great, Strong Willed, and Brilliant Judges and Justices of our Country who will lead us back to Greatness!"
