Shock moment smitten Love is Blind UK stars romp TWICE on first night of romantic retreat
LOVE is Blind viewers were left stunned after two stars hooked up not once but TWCIE on the first night of their romantic retreat.
The UK edition of the popular Netflix show just dropped on the streaming service on Wednesday (August 7).
Hosted by married couple Matt and Emma Willis, the show sees hopeless romantics form connections and even get engaged to someone before meeting face-to-face.
Fans are already hooked on the first four episodes, with the next batch set to drop in a week.
And wasting no time in getting to know each other are dental nurse Catherine Richards, 29, and funeral director Freddie Powe, 32.
In episode three, Freddie proposes to Catherine, and they finally meet face-to-face for the first time before going on holiday together.
Their first face-to-face meeting was a success, as Catherine confessed to the cameras: “Freddie has lived up to my expectations and more. He’s just the best, I feel so lucky,”
Meanwhile, Freddie himself acknowledged: “Me and Catherine are 100% we are meant to be.”
The pair progressed to the holiday stage of the series where they hit things off in Greece.
Catherine candidly told the cameras after the first night: “We had sex. My mum’s going to kill me. We had sex. Twice. I mean look at him, are you kidding?”
Elsewhere, viewers also watched Catherine confess to cameras during her honeymoon her apprehension at meeting fellow contestant Ollie outside of the pods.
She said: “I am nervous to meet Ollie, we never really got closure, he didn’t know I was going to call it off. So I think for him, it was a bit of a shock.
“I do feel a bit unsettled going in there and seeing him but I know if I’ve got Freddie by my side I’ll be okay.”
Viewers will have to wait and see whether the couple’s honeymoon continues to be smooth sailing or if Ollie has put a spanner in the works.
