Kerry Katona warned by doctor as she goes under the knife AGAIN for boob job and face lift surgery
KERRY Katona has been warned against going under the knife again by a plastic surgeon.
The mum-of-five revealed in July she plans on getting a facelift as well as her fourth boob job in order to achieve her perfect look.
Kerry has been on a transformation mission this year[/caption] The star wants to look perfect for her wedding to Ryan Mahoney[/caption]This follows on from a dramatic procedure in May where she had part of her rib removed to rebuild her nose, and a £3,000 eyelift in January.
She told OK!: “I would really like a lower facelift, to give me that chiselled jawline. And I want a boob job now too.
“I feel like my boobs are at my knees!” .
However, Mark Solomos, renowned plastic surgeon and advocate of GC Aesthetics medical devices, has said that this many procedures in a row may be a bad idea.
“Kerry needs to think hard about whether this surgery is absolutely necessary to undergo, it is not a decision that should be made lightly, because it can come with consequences,” he said.
“With any surgical procedure, there are dangers and risks and they should be carefully considered before undergoing multiple surgeries.
“The more surgery you undergo, the more the risk increases due to the weakening of tissues that have already been operated on.”
Adding that the number of procedures will “put stress on the body, which could make it go into overdrive”, Doctor Mark said it would take longer to heal as a result.
“Although undergoing two surgeries simultaneously arguably reduces healing time, it also means the body has to double its energy to heal from two separate surgeries at the same time,” he explained.
“As surgeons, it is our responsibility to ensure the procedures are really necessary – Kerry has already been under the knife twice this year for facial surgery, with a rhinoplasty and blepharoplasty – I would question the need for her to undergo two more procedures.
“I’m not sure she is truly aware of the risks of more surgeries.”
Kerry’s new comments follows up from her saying something similar in May, saying in her OK! column: “I think it will look really good. I’ve started now so I may as well keep going.”
“I wouldn’t get anything else after that though,” she quickly added.
“I think if you want something done then why not, but I wouldn’t go too far.”
Preparing to get married to fiancé Ryan Mahoney, Kerry has been open about her desire for ‘tweakments’ ahead of the big day.
Over the past few years, Kerry has been focusing more on her own personal health and beauty goals, and has been brazenly honest about her procedures.
Rather than go under the knife, Kerry has largely relied on non-invasive procedures to enhance or dissolve areas of her body as she deems necessary.
She got her nose job in order to ‘close the chapter’ on long-standing issues caused by her cocaine addiction when she was younger, which burned a hole in her septum as a result.
Kerry Katona's cosmetic surgery timeline
Here we look at the star's changing face - from fresh-faced pop singer to the latest £3,000 tweakment.
Kerry first went under the knife in 2004 for a boob job, and again in 2008 for another breast enhancement and liposuction.
In 2010 she also revealed she had tried to turn back time with some facial tweaks.
Kerry was bitten by the vampire facial bug in 2013, and feared she would die after a shocking reaction to the procedure, popularised by Kim Kardashian.
In 2019 Kerry sparked outrage by endorsing a ‘Katona Package’ at a London clinic offering “2ml face filler and one area fat dissolving” for £699.
When the mum-of-five approached her 40th, she celebrated with fillers and fat-dissolving injections in her chin to “enhance my natural beauty”.
Two years later Kerry joked she’d got a “brand new face” after a procedure called CoolSculpting, which freezes fat cells under the skin and destroys them. She had some fat removed from her chin and Botox injections.
In 2023, the TV star revealed a tighter jawline after treating herself to a “non-invasive facelift”.
In early 20224, Kerry had much more invasive eye lift and brow lift in January, at a cost of over £3,000.
