As he stepped up during round five, Wesemann wore a nervous look on his face.

He then made his move forward, bouncing twice before changing his mind.

Wesemann managed to gather himself, before sensationally turning around to start again.

To his credit, he was able to recover well.

The Team Germany star regained composure, before executing his dive well.

Wesemann was applauded by his team-mates watching on from the stands.

Nonetheless, he received a 2.0 penalty for his initial indiscretion.

This led to him scoring 57 for the round.
