OHA set to discuss ongoing measles outbreak in Oregon

Experts are coming together to discuss the recent measles cases across Oregon.

PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) -- Experts are coming together to discuss a rash of recent measles cases across Oregon.

The Oregon Health Authority announced Thursday morning that they will be holding a press conference at 11 a.m. to discuss the outbreak.

OHA's medical director for communicable diseases and immunizations Paul Cieslak, M.D. and Sarah Present, M.D., health officer at the Clackamas County Public Health Division, will be going over the response and how to prevent measles spread.
