Showers and thunderstorms have developed this morning causing some heavy downpours at times in some areas. Storms will continue to persist in the early morning hours before coming more spotty in nature in the later morning hours.

Temperatures this morning have cooled into the middle to upper 60s with a light wind variable in direction. Because of the storms this morning, we will be much cooler today with persisting cloud coverage. Highs climb into the upper 70s and lower 80s as we settle into a cooler pattern over the next several days.

Today, Friday and Saturday look to fantastic with highs only getting into the upper 70s. Some folks stay even cooler than that. Can't rule out a few spotty showers on Friday, but the next best rain chance after today looks to be Sunday night.
