Tonight will be humid with clouds thickening as the remnants of Tropical Storm Debby moving northward along the Appalachians. Showers will brush the eastern part of the state through Friday morning.
A cold front will push east across the state Friday, sparking a few showers over the eastern half of the state through early afternoon. Temperatures will rise into the mid-80s.
A push of significantly cooler, drier air will arrive in the wake of the storm system. Skies will be mostly sunny through the weekend, with unusually pleasant temperatures in the 70s and low humidity. Morning readings will be in the comfortable 50s.
