MAN urges Government to put manufacturing first

A group of manufacturers are urging the new Government to put manufacturing first and ensure it has the support and funding it needs to become more sustainable.

The Manufacturing Assembly Network – a group of seven sub-contract manufacturers and an engineering design agency – is highlighting the long-term lack of a coherent industrial strategy that they believe is holding the sector back.
