Jesy Nelson breaks silence on Jade Thirlwall after Little Mix feud and not speaking to former bandmates

JESY Nelson has revealed what she thinks of former Little Mix bandmate Jade Thirlwall’s debut single.

The pop star has kept quiet on her old friends’ solo careers so far but responded when a fan asked her directly for her thoughts on social media.

They wrote: “Jesy, have you heard Angel Of My Dreams? Do you like the song?”

Jesy responded: “I have it’s a vibe!!!”

It was welcomed by fans, with one commenting: “Nice response.”

Another said: “She’s not as bitter as everyone thinks she is.”

A third wrote: “oh I thought they didn’t like each other.”

The polite remark was surprising given the frosty relationship between Jesy, Jade, Perrie Edwards and Leigh-Anne Pinnock.

In an interview with Cosmopolitan earlier this year, Perrie candidly said: “We don’t talk, and haven’t done for a long time.

“It’s really sad, it’s heartbreaking. But sometimes these things happen and people decide they want to part ways, and that’s absolutely fine. I would rather it went differently, but you can’t control how things go.”

In her 2023 autobiography, Believe, Leigh-Anne said of Jesy’s shock exit from the group in December 2020: “It was abrupt, then it was sad, then it was messy.”

And more recently, Jade seemed to be embarrassed by a viral moment earlier in the group’s career when Jesy attempted a Jamaican accent.

When it was mentioned on Jaded The Podcast, Jade recoiled and said: “Oh my god. Rebuke. No comment.”

However, time could well be proving a healer, much to the delighter of Little Mix fans everywhere.

Last year Jesy spoke about her exit in depth for the first time in an interview with The Sun and suggested there was hope for a future relationship between them all.

She said: “So no, we haven’t talked since then. Never say never, but I honestly wish them the best on their solo journeys now, which is so exciting.

“I think that is what is so exciting about all of us. We are all musically different styles. I think we will all go in our own lane.

“I am rooting for all of them. I honestly do wish them all the success as they are all crazy talented.”
