'Feeble': Kamala Harris' team reacts to Trump press conference rant

Vice President Kamala Harris' campaign slammed former President Donald Trump over a press conference that saw him compare himself to Martin Luther King Jr. and boast of his popularity with North Korean supreme leader Kim Jong Un.

"A feeble Trump holds a press conference to lie and yell about his noticeably smaller rally crowd sizes," the Harris campaign tweeted.

The video clip Harris shared begins with Trump, 78, closing his eyes, shaking his head and declaring, "Oh give me a break."

Trump then discusses reporting of the tens of thousands of people who have flocked to Harris' rally tour alongside Gov. Tim Walz (D-MN).

"Listen, I had 107,000 people in New Jersey and you didn't report it," Trump said. "What did she have yesterday, two thousand? If I ever had 2,000 people you'd say my campaign was finished."

The mayor of Wildwood, where the New Jersey rally took place in May, estimated the crowd to be around 80,000 strong.

Trump rattles off more numbers he claimed "no one mentions."

"I'm always saying, 'Turn around the cameras,'" Trump said. "We have the enthusiasm. The Republican Party, and me as a candidate, has the enthusiasm."

Washington Post columnist Philip Bump said of the reporter who asked Trump about crowd size, "[She] knew exactly what she was doing."
