Trump agrees to face Kamala Harris in 3 televised debates
Speaking at a press conference on Thursday at Mar-a-Lago, former President Donald Trump said he's agreed to take part in three televised debates with Democratic candidate Kamala Harris.
Trump previously said he wasn't sure if he was going to do a debate because he'd initially agreed to face President Joe Biden, before he was replaced with Harris.
He later said a debate scheduled with ABC that had been agreed on with Biden and co-hosted by George Stephanopoulos would be scrapped. Trump suggested it take place on Fox News instead.
He said Thursday he's now agreed to debates on ABC, NBC and Fox News, and listed the dates of Sept. 4, 10 and 25.
He said he had yet to agree to location and audience details, and that Harris' team had not yet confirmed if she'd take part.
Harris has previously said she is excited to debate him and that she'll be at the ABC debate whether Trump is there or not. A line she's been using at rallies is "say it to my face."
