John joined the Spurs academy aged just eight, rising through the age group ranks at the club before making his senior debut for the North London club back in 2020.
The box-to-box midfielder, who has been a key part of the Under-21 set-up over recent years and spent a brief spell on loan at Charlton Athletic, has now decided to leave his boyhood club in an effort to further his career.
Lilywhite Rose was the first to break the news that the 21-year-old would be departing Hotspur Way on a permanent basis, with Tottenham confirming on Tuesday that the youngster had signed with Feirense.

The Spurs academy graduate has now taken to Instagram to thank those who helped him along his journey at Tottenham and admitted that the club will always hold a special place in his heart.
He wrote: “As I reflect on the past 14 years I have spent at the club, I am overwhelmed with gratitude for the experiences and relationships I have formed during my time here. It has truly been an honour to be a part of such a wonderful community
“All I ever wanted to do was represent your colours with pride and passion and I am incredibly grateful for those around me to help achieve my dreams of playing for this beautiful club.
“From the very beginning, I was welcomed with open arms and given opportunities to grow, both personally and professionally. The support received by staff has been invaluable, helping me to overcome challenges and celebrate successes.
“I want to extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone who has been a part of this journey. Your friendship, mentorship, and honesty has meant the world to me. The memories we have created together will always hold a special place in my heart.
“Although it is time for me to move on to new adventures, I will always cherish the time I spent at the club.”

Having spent so long at Spurs and having grown up from a boy to a man at the club, there is no doubt that John will always be Tottenham through and through.
Spurs fans will be hoping that the midfielder goes on to have a career at the top level and that our paths cross once again in the future.
